t-shirtat.com (tee-shûr-taat) launched in June 2004, created by me, Dalia Ghanem to break ethnic t-shirt barriers. I always wanted my culture and all Arab cultures to be represented on t-shirts as all the European and Latin cultures were.

 

My vision was to create a line of t-shirts that represented my culture in a positive light. Since there are many t-shirts in the market but none that would positively represent the Middle East and its rich culture.

The line, of course, is not exclusive to the Middle Eastern market as other backgrounds can identify with Middle Eastern pop culture and have occasionally had a falafel or smoked a hookah.

t-shirtat.com has gracefully broken into the untapped market for chic Middle Eastern inspired t-shirts, by identifying with customers with savvy Arab inspired slogans and designs on trendy t-shirts, aptly named t-shirtat.com which translates to the plural of t-shirts in the Arabic slang language.

 

t-shirtat.com's philosophy is not to compromise quality, the t-shirts are made of the best quality available in the market mainly and are professionally screen printed to ensure longevity.

 

t-shirtat.com's mission is to represent the Middle Eastern culture in a light hearted, fun and endearing manner, creating nostalgia for customers.

Since the launch of t-shirtat.com, the site has received enormous positive feedback and a great following. As part of its ideology, t-shirtat.com has been involved in community events such as local and national street festivals including the NAAP NY street festival (and all NAAP events) 11th Annual Dearborn Festival, Arab World Fest which is part of Milwaukee's annual summerfest, fashion shows and fundraisers and believes in giving back to the community.
